In the world of travel and tourism and investments in the hospitality industry, the price was £295 million British Pounds. Unconfirmed reports put this price tag on the Hyatt Churchill in London.
The hotel made the headline on Friday after an explosion forced guests to be relocated. Many Hyatt staff members were injured in the Friday night explosion. The hotel is currently closed.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari and his associate Dr. Asim Hussain are safe after being shifted from the five-star Churchill Hyatt Regency hotel in Portman Square to another hotel nearby after the Churchill hotel was rocked by a huge blast on Friday midnight.
No independent confirmation could be obtained if this hotel was actually sold for £295 million British Pounds to the president.
One tweet in response to this news says: “A person who has never had a job and does not officially own a business, owns a 500 million $ hotel. Imagine.”
